UPDATE: All cards have now been revealed. You can find the full gallery here!
If you’re familiar with Marvel’s Spider-Man Universes Beyond set, you know the aesthetic blend of comic book flair and Magic design—at least until now. Enter Through the Omenpaths, a digital-only “Universes Within” mirror of that same Spider-Man set, available in MTG Arena and MTGO. The cards are mechanically identical to their Marvel originals but sport all-new names, art, and styling tailored to feel native to Magic’s world.
Wizards needed a workaround for licensing restrictions, they couldn’t bring the Marvel-branded cards into digital platforms. Through the Omenpaths is their solution, allowing players to enjoy the mechanics in digital formats without violating IP limitations.
Through the Omenpaths: The In-Universe tie-in
Two cards have already been revealed, and they’re cheeky, and maybe confusing, mirrors of Spider-Man versions:

Kraza, the Swarm as One is the in-universe rendition of Spider-Punk. Think of it as a hero leading a crawling swarm of spiders instead of rocking punk attire and shredding guitars. He kind of reminds me of Kaervek.

The Terminus of Return takes the mechanical identity of The Soul Stone. Yet here’s the twist: it’s not called an Infinity Stone in its type line, it’s a Terminus Stone, a subtle but odd flavor tweak.
Why This Matters
At first glance, these Through the Omenpaths cards could feel like brand new additions, especially since they lack the secondary title bar or set information that usually signals a reskin, like in past Universes Within treatments. That visual cue has been skipped entirely.
This decision could lead to confusion, especially for players jamming decks across both paper and digital formats. Imagine crafting a deck in paper but then assembling it in Arena or MTGO, having to search to find the matching in-universe version. That’s a recipe for mismatches and reporting headaches.
My take is that Hasbro either didn't want to pony up the money to license the characters for digital use or that Marvel refused to let them be used in the app. Either way, this causes extra work for digital deck brewers but has little to no effect on the paper pros. A bit of give and take.
TL;DR Snapshot
Through the Omenpaths is a digital-only Universes Within version of the Marvel Spider-Man set and possible future sets, designed to preserve mechanics while bypassing licensing issues.
Two cards revealed so far:
Kraza, the Swarm as One = Spider-Punk
The Terminus of Return = The Soul Stone, but now a Terminus Stone
The lack of visual indicators that these are digital reskins may trip-up deck builders across platforms.
